Comment Rules

On this blog, I encourage all readers to engage in thought-provoking discussion and to contribute to a positive and welcoming environment.

I will not presume what you can or cannot say on the wider internet, but in the context of the forums I provide, breaking the following rules can get you banned.

I.: Use appropriate trigger warnings when writing about sensitive topics

Certain articles may incentivise comments with emotionally heavy subjects. If you suspect that your message may be triggering to some, signal it at the top of your message. (List of common triggers)

II.: Swearing is OK, but keep it tasteful

Mild to moderate swearing is acceptable, and I will probably do it too. Excessive or too strong profanity such as discriminatory slurs aren't acceptable.

III.: No forms of bigotry allowed

Moderation is strict and will get you banned without second thought. Racism, transphobia, queerphobia, religious discrimination, ableism, sexism, misogyny, misogynoir, kink-shaming and all other forms of bigotry are completely disallowed in comments.

IV.: No AI-generated content

Using or promoting AI models is strictly banned from the comment section.

V.: No spreading of alt-right, incel, gamergate or similar content

Ties into rule III. Even if meant as a joke, I will strictly moderate against this.

VI.: Stay on-topic

Please keep comments to their respective articles or use the guest book if you have broader remarks about my work.

VII.: Be kind and respectful

This goes for my own work, as well as the works I cover in articles.

VIII.: No impersonating others
